PEOPLE
Based on the latest census, the number of population of Lombok Island is 2.5 people. 90 percent of Lombok Island is Sasak ethnic. The rest are Balinese who have been in Lombok since 17 th century and other various minority ethnic group who come from other part of Indonesia . These ethnic group such as Arabic, bugise, banjar and Chinese Most of these ethnic minority live at town.

RELIGION
